The Link Support Network's primary focus is upon assisting youth who are at risk.
Link offers a range of services, primarily under contract to Child, Youth and Family (CYF).
- Genesis House provides residential care in Hamilton for girls who are awaiting longer-term placement in foster care, or who need to live outside of their normal family for a period of time. Referrals are made through CYF.
- Out of School programmes are also offered in conjunction with Waiora Lifestreams. Activities include camps and retreats which are designed to build on the strengths of young people in communities where circumstances would otherwise disadvantage them.
- Link also provides community-based Intervention Services, in which consultants work one-on-one alongside young people and their families to help them avoid or overcome cycles of disadvantage that would otherwise limit their ability to achieve to their fullest potential in life.
Link does not usually accept referrals direct from the public.
