About the Programme

The New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) is one of the most popular business qualifications in New Zealand. Endorsed nationally by employers, professional associations and educational institutions, the NZDipBus focuses on personal and professional development, equipping graduates with a broad range of practical and relevant business skills and knowledge.

On completion of the NZDipBus qualification, graduates will gain an internationally recognised qualification in applied management and business studies enabling entry into business careers, or further undergraduate study. Business studies at Vision College can also meet the academic requirements for students wishing to join the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants or the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, in addition to membership of the New Zealand Institute of Management.

Entry Requirements
You must:

  • Be a minimum age of 17 and have four years secondary education (NCEA 2) or be a mature student aged over 20
  • Be interviewed
  • Have academic IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (International students only)

Applicants whose first language is not English will be interviewed to assess their level of English competency and may be required to complete a placement indicator test.

Further Study
The NZDipBus programme prepares graduates for further studies in accounting, banking and finance, business administration, ICT and management. Successful students may be accepted into second year studies at University
