Diploma Associate of Contemporary Christian Music

Course Details

About the Programme

The Diploma Associate of Contemporary Christian Music (Dip. ACCM) provides a unique opportunity for people to develop their passion for music in a Christian environment and within the context of Christian beliefs and ministry. It combines performance with academic study.

The Diploma Associate of Contemporary Christian Music is a comprehensive year of study at New Zealand degree level and is designed for people who want to develop formal music knowledge and skills, or who want to go on and complete the entire degree. Students will study stimulating music subjects that require critical thinking, written and verbal communication. As well as developing a sound knowledge of music theory, students choose from either the vocal, instrumental or song writing stream and enrol in one of these. Students opting for the instrumental stream can choose instruments from contemporary (rock) or orchestral disciplines. The Diploma also includes theology to build a solid biblical foundation for both life and ministry
