Certificate in Business Applications

Course Details

About the Programme

The Certificate in Business Applications is a 22 week (70 credits) programme. It is comprised of 16 unit standards covering three areas - computing, communication and accounting. It recognizes the level of competence, knowledge and skills required for business in this modern world and is designed for those people beginning a career in business or office work where computers are used.

The way in which the work is organised is to simulate as much as possible the type of work a graduate will be doing once out in the real world. Most of the work is done with Microsoft Office tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, simple databases and the popular MYOB accounting software.

This course has been designed to give you not one but three certificates. As well as the Certificate in Business Applications, graduates receive the National Certficate in Computing (Level 3) and the National Certificate in Business Administration and Computing (Level 3).
