Diploma of Christian Leadership

Course Details

About the Programme

The Diploma of Christian Leadership has been designed for people who have completed previous study and want to continue developing their understanding of leadership.

This one year programme follows on from the Diploma in Ministry. It combines study with 15 hours of ministry per week in your local church. This provides students with an opportunity to put their learning into practice while continuing to develop their knowledge and skills further. The internship is complemented by a mentoring component to ensure that the learning that takes place is supported and evaluated in a safe environment. A mentor will be appointed and must be approved by the College and will usually be your Pastor or significant leader.

As the course is made up of block courses that can be completed in any order, students can enter the course at any stage during the year. Internship placements must be approved by the College and, although students usually complete their internship in their local church, alternatives will be considered.

Prospective studdents will need to be able to demonstrate that they have gained approximately 120 credits at Level 5 in a similar field. Some exceptions will be accepted within the boundaries of Vision College ensuring that graduates of this programme have sound biblical and theological knowledge.
