Marie Meyer - Course Co-ordinator (Christchurch Campus)
Marie has been involved in counselling and adult education for over 25 years. She has a wide range of experience as a Counselling Psychologist - in private practice, supervising, providing counselling in tertiary settings and in prisons, as well as consulting to individuals and organisations regarding mediation, coaching and organisation development.

John Robinson - Course Co-ordinator (Hamilton Campus)
John Robinson is currently the Co-ordinator of the counselling course in Hamilton. He has been on the mission field and is a accredited Pastor.
He not only co-ordinates but teaches several subjects in the counselling course. He has extensive training and experience in both the Social Work and Counselling fields. He has a degree in Social Work and Counselling. For 8 years he was involved in Addiction and Drug recovery work for the Salvation Army. He is a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors and Christian Counselling Association. He is a member of The Drug and Alcohol Association of Aotearoa New Zealand and is a registered ACC counsellor, and certified supervisor.

Mark Murphy - Tutor - (Christchurch Campus)
When Mark was young, as a child in India his brother and he divided up the world. He got the animals, and became a biologist. Mark got the people, and have become a counsellor. His family immigrated to New Zealand in the 1980s. He initially completed an M.A. (Dist.) in Political Science at the University of Canterbury, but then decided he wanted to work in a more personal, holistic way helping others to heal and grow. Mark completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Discursive Therapies (Dist.) through Massey Univerisity's School of Psychology, and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Mindbody Healthcare through AUT's School of Psychotherapy. At present, Mark works part-time as a counsellor at the Arahura Health Centre where he works with a wide range of people, including clients who have physical illness in which subjective/psychological factors play a significant role. He has been involved with Vision College since the beginning of 2007. His role at Vision College is as a Tutor and as co-ordinator of Distance Studies. He works to ensure that the students in theprogramme are well supported and warmly challenged.
